Flying Horse Henan Opera Troupe visited the overseas Chinese in Seoul,
Korea. Two plays, “The Scented Sachet” and “Miss. Chin-Hua Yang”, were
performed in Seoul on the 4th and the 5th. |

In January, the
Flying Horse Henan Opera Troupe was invited by Chinese-American Arts Council
INC. to perform “The Scented Sachet” in Lincoln Centre for the Performing
Arts, NY, U.S.A. Ms. Hai-Lin Wang was awarded “Most Outstanding Asian
Artist Award” in 1991. |

Executive Yuan to perform “Honan Opera Specialties” and “Matchmaker” in
the Taipei Theatre of Chinese News & Culture Centre in New York, U.S.A. |

Horse Henan Opera Troupe was invited by “Urania Cultural Centre, Berlin,
Germany”, Chinese Societies in European countries and Council for Cultural
Affairs, Executive Yuan, to perform “Tan Po-Hu Courts Chiu-Hsiang” in
Germany, France, Italy and Singapore. |

Opera Troupe of the National Guoguang Opera Company was invited to participate
in the Asian Art Festival in the U.S. It performed “Tang Bai-Hu and Ciu-
Siang: A Perfect Match” and “Wang Kuei Betrays Gui-Ying: the Scene of
Walking” in the US and Canada. |

August, the Henan Opera Troupe was invited to participate in the Second
International Art Festival in Great Britain, performing “Tang Bai-Hu and
Ciu-Siang: A Perfect Match” and “Wang Kuei Betrays Gui-Ying: the Scene

Henan Opera Troupe was first invited to give on-tour performances in Hong
Kong and mainland China, playing “Wang Kuei Betrays Gui-Ying: the Scene
of Walking”, “Yang Jing-Hua,” and “Fighting with Tao San-Chun Three Times.” |

In April, the
Henan Opera Troupe went to Henan Province to participate in the Peony
Culture Festival. It gave on-tour performances round Jhengjhou, Luoyang,
Jiyuan, Puyang, Jhumadian, Jhoukou, and Suchang, playing “Chinese Princess
Turandot” and “Large-Footed Queen.” |

In July, As representative of Taiwan the Henan Opera Troupe
was in Duisburg, Germany for the Closing Ceremony of IWGA, they took
over the flag and gave touring performances in Europe.
In Sept.The Troupe gave on-tour performances in Beijing,
Henan and other provinces in China. The dramas were Turandot and Legend
of Caojin. |

Invited by Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay to present the experimental production - Testing the Wife! from February 27, 2007 to March 6, 2007 as part of Huayi-Chinese Festival of Arts 2007 in Singapore. |

In June 11-30, Taiwan BangZi Company participated in the cultural activity of Olympics, “Meet in Beijing” -- Cross-Strait Art Week. It performed “Empress Dowager Cixi and Imperial Consort Zhen” in the Chang An Grand Theater in Beijing and toured in Urumqi, Xinjiang, and Zhengzhou, Honao province. |
